What is subletting? Subletting happens when an existing tenant lets all or part of their home to someone else. That person is known as a subtenant, and they have a tenancy for all or part of the property which is let to them. They also have exclusive use of the accommodation that is let to them.
Why not rent a house with a friend and Sub let one of the rooms your not using to another friend or person you know, to reduce the overall rent for each room.
While you have an extra tenant in the house, the landlord may not necessarily increase the rent for the overall house, reducing your own rent for your room and reducing cost of bills.
– Use Facebook Marketplace to find suitable tenants.
– include images of rooms with Religious memorabilia, to ensure you find tenants have similar beliefs and aspirations to your own.
– Renting your home –
Renting, also known as hiring or letting, is an agreement where a payment is made for the use of a good, service or property owned by another over a fixed period of time.
– If you are lucky enough to own your own property, why not rent a portion of it to a tenant.
– Housing Students –
While the same applies to renting or sub letting rooms to students.
– Be warned here, although rental potential is seasonal, students only attend college for a portion of the year.
